Last week I bought my first copy of Thrasher magazine in over 5 years. I haven't owned a skateboard since I bought that last copy, but i've never lost my love for it. Every year when spring hits, I tell myself that i'm going to go down to Sunday and buy a new board. Unfortunately something always gets in the way.
That is Rodney Mullen, my all time favorite skater. He has invented more street tricks than anyone else. The things he can do with a skateboard is literally mind blowing. I recently watched a TED talk with him when he explained how he skates and it was really inspiring. It's 18 minutes long but well worth it if you are interested in skateboarding at all:
